THE 5th ANNUAL REUNION
30 OCTOBER 2010 THE SPOT NIGHT CLUB IN THE CITY OF DERBY
GENERAL
We are pleased to announce the annual reunion for 2010 is to be held again at the spot night club in Derby. For the people who as attended for the last two years will agree it is a more relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
We are trying to keep the price the same as last year of £ 12per head, that’s depending on the cost of buffet ECT which has not been set as yet
OUTLINE OF EVENT
The reunion will be held at the Spot night club Sacheverel St Derby 30 October 2010.
Starting at1800 until 2359. This venue will be ticket only. No tickets sold at the door not even reserved ones. As you can imagine this is run on a very tight budget. We need the moneys and head a count in A. S. P. to order the buffet; 2009 the venue was booked on a predicted head count from the feed back from you. One month before the venue their was a massive sort fall in numbers. Which would mean that we would have to pay the excess of £400? A week before numbers had improved but I meant that money would be received at the door on the night. So we ordered the extra buffets at a cost of £350 hoping the money would come back from the door. At the end of the evening the heads count was down. The excess had to be paid. Which came from the raffle and or own pockets. Remember we don’t get any backing from any other source it’s all generated from the sale of tickets.
So this year we have booked the room for 250 heads, tickets will go on sale from April to sept which will encompass Worcester & crich. We think over the five years we have reached a level of about 250 or so!
Don’t leave it to late to order your tickets when they have gone they have gone tickets will not be sold on the door.
For the people who make a weekend of the reunion and stay over the Friday night meal at a local Chinese buffet restaurant plus a visit to a local bar has proven very popular , some forty people attended last year if you wish to take part contact Tanky Harrison 01332753614

By air East midlands Airport is the nearest airport about 12 miles from Derby
By train. Derby is on the Midland Main line with direct links from most UK cities the venue is about a £4 taxi ride local taxi numbers 01332292929
By Road From any major trunk roads follow city centre for inner ring rd
Car parking you’ll find ample parking on Wilmot st which runs to the rear of the spot. There is a height restriction to the car parks if you come by private coach please contact the above we will find alternative parking
SUMMARY
At the 2009 venue you may have noticed someone walking around with a video camera!!! This is being produced by a friend who will incorporate the videos which was shown on the night, when we have figured out to put a segment on the site it will go on sale
